How PresenceSet handles information.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Summary

PresenceSet is a virtual office background brand. This policy explains what this website does and does not do with information, and describes how PresenceSet uses Google OAuth for its own internal operations.

  • This website is informational. It has no customer accounts, login, payments, forms or database, and it does not currently collect customer data or process payments. Visitors are never asked to connect a Google account.
  • PresenceSet currently uses Google OAuth to authorize its private production automation to access PresenceSet's own Google Drive files.
  • The automation currently requests the full Google Drive OAuth scope. Its access is not technically restricted to specific PresenceSet folders.
  • OAuth credentials are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager, and the account owner can revoke Google Drive authorization at any time through Google Account permissions.

This website

The PresenceSet website presents the brand and provides contact information. It does not ask visitors to sign in, make a purchase, or submit information through a form, and it does not store visitor data in a database. It does not currently collect customer data or process payments.

The site is hosted on Vercel. As with most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. PresenceSet does not use this website for advertising or visitor tracking.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, and we use it only to respond to you.

Use of Google OAuth

PresenceSet currently uses Google OAuth 2.0 to authorize its private production automation to access PresenceSet's own Google Drive files. The automation is an internal tool used to run PresenceSet's production workflow. It is not a public service, and it is not offered to visitors or customers.

The Google account being authorized belongs to PresenceSet. The public website does not use Google OAuth, and it does not require or request that visitors connect their Google accounts. The automation does not access the Google accounts or Drive files of website visitors, customers or any other third party.

What the automation does

Within PresenceSet's own Google Drive, the automation is used to:

  • Read file metadata — for example file and folder names, identifiers, types, locations and modification dates.
  • Read approved reference files — files that PresenceSet has approved for use as reference material in its production work.
  • Create production manifests — files that describe the contents and status of PresenceSet's production work.
  • Verify uploaded files — confirming that media assets and other files uploaded to PresenceSet's Drive are present and complete.

This access is used solely to operate and maintain PresenceSet's own production files.

Requested permission scope

The current automation requests the full Google Drive OAuth scope. This means the permission granted by Google is broad: it is not technically restricted to PresenceSet's production folders, and it applies to the Google Drive of the authorized PresenceSet account.

PresenceSet limits its own use of that access to the purposes described above, but this is an operating practice rather than a technical restriction enforced by the scope itself.

What we do not do

  • We do not use Google OAuth to access visitors' or customers' Google accounts or files.
  • We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
  • We do not currently collect customer data through this website, and we do not process payments.

PresenceSet's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Credential storage

The OAuth credentials used by the automation are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager. They are not published on this website, not included in the website's code, and not sent to visitors' browsers.

Revoking access

The account owner can revoke Google Drive authorization at any time through Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked, the automation can no longer read or write files in the Google Drive account. PresenceSet can also remove the stored credentials from Google Cloud Secret Manager.
